Your driving instructor will not be permitted to accompany any pupil on their driving test until further notice.
The driving test will be conducted as normal, however, should you commit a serious/dangerous fault or too many driver faults, the examiner may direct you back to the driving test centre early to give you your result. This is to minimise the risk to both you and the examiner of exposure to Covid-19.
At the end of the test, your instructor will not be permitted to listen to the result of your test due to social distancing, although the examiner will tell you everything you need to know.
This guidance has been produced in line with the current UK government guidelines of Covid-19 and is subject to change as new information and guidance is released. We have created this to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 during driving lessons and whilst out on driving tests.
